Christmas 2011

We had a quiet Christmas this year. Just our little family and some Christmas magic. We had a fun dinner on Christmas eve with "fancy" plates and a roast!

Santa made a visit to our house...he was good to us this year!

He did like all of the cookies that we left for him...and he drank all his milk.

Logan was SO excited about the wagon...we used it later that day! It was all he wanted with the exception of Cars 2 Lego's!!

He was so so so excited about the Lego's...He said to me "mom, this is the one thing I always wanted, like the one I saw at Target" Love him so much!

She was SO excited about her Belle...she is not super jazzed about her now, but she was very excited!

November and Thanksgiving

We had all kinds of fun things happen in November...we had a Polk County event Family Week and they had a bounce house and fun things for the kids to do. We were also able to go to Mississippi for Thanksgiving.

My sweet little baby, 7 months old...so sweet!

Logan and Samuel played in the bounce house...I would be leaving out a fun detail if I did not say that I totally got in the bounce house with the boys. It was so fun to get in there and to see how much fun they had!

Logan and Addison were playing with his trains and train mat. She loves her big brother so much...and he is so sweet with her when she wants to play with him which is all the time! I was reminded of the night that we brought her home and he wanted to play with her...so they did a puzzle :)

When we went to Missisiippi, the kids did great! It was so fun to have most of the family home! It has been a while sence we have all been together like that! Addison was a hit with everyone...even the kids!

Addison 9 months

Addison turned 9 months on January 6th. I can not believe that she has gotten so big! I am so proud of her and so happy she is healthy and growing!

Her 9 month stats:
18 lbs 10 oz (49%)
18 in head circumference
28 1/2 inches long (90%)

She does not look like a sting bean to me but that is what the pediatrician said when we went for her check up. So we are starting to push more table foods.

She has been crawling for several months
She is pulling herself up on EVERYTHING
She is cruising around things and Bob and I have made bets on when she will walk. I think it will be before she is 10 months old.
She LOVES to talk
She can say Ma-ma and Ba-ba
She can wave "hi" and "bye-bye"
She LOVES Logan
Logan loves to pick things up for her when she is in her high chair and drops things. She will drop it and then look at Logan and start "chatting" and looking at the floor...like, "um hello, I dropped it, are you going to pick it up"
She is very independent and determined
We love having her around our house and can not imagine our lives with out this sweet little face!

Utah Trip

In October my cute cousin got married and I was able to take my little people out there to go to the wedding. Logan loves his Mimi and Papi so much...

They did so well on the flights, I could not even believe it. We had a layover each way and they were amazing.

I am telling you, they never left eachother's side!! They were so much fun to watch!

I love this picture. I am so glad that we got to go out there and see both the wedding and my sweet parents. I am always amazed at the kind of love parent have for their children and I feel very blessed that mine are amazing!!

Labor Day Weekend

We were able to take the Labor Day weekend away...it was the first time we have taken our little family on vacation! My sweet sister in-law and brother in-law let us use their house in St Augustine! We love St Augustine is one of our favorite places to visit.

We went to the Castillo Fort...we got to see them shoot a cannon, it was Logan's favorite part!

Before I had Logan, I knew I would love him, but once he was here I was amazed at how much one person could love another!! I also remember Bob and I talking in the hospital and he said..."I knew I would love him, I just did not realize I would love you so much more"

That to me was quite profound, when there is more somones to love the love grows infinetly, not just by the amount of someones.

So I know the worry alot of second time parents have "what if I dont love the second one like I love the first" so I knew when I was pregnanat with Addison that I was going to love her as much as I love Logan. What I was not prepared for, was how much more I love them together. I knew I would love Addie Bug, and I love Logie Bear...but there is this seperate love I feel that is them as a pair...it is amazing!!!

I am so grateful that the Lord gives us these oportunities to show love and feel love that we could never imagine!! What a blessing!!

3 Months

My beautiful baby turned 3 months the first part of July...

As we don't go to the dr until she is 4 months old...so here are her "stats"

She is sleeping thru the night (with the every once and a while wake up)

She is SO strong (like freakishly)

She LOVES Logan - she would spend all day watching him play if she could

She is rolling all over the place (she rolled from her back to her front on Father's Day and 2 days later from her front to her back)

She is fully in her crib now, we had a little sling thing from Fisher Price that we worshiped, but it was time to get her in her bed

She is a talker

She is the most patient baby I have ever encountered, she is calm and peacefully, of course unless you go past her patience threshold and piss her off....they, watch out this girl has some attitude in her "voice"

We love her more and more every day!!

I can not believe our little princess is 2 months old...(really almost 11 weeks now)

She is so strong, we had to have some blood drawn this last week and the lady doing it just kept saying, "She is so strong...this is difficult"

She is in her own room now, which is not really a big deal as it is 3 feet from our room :)

We love her so much and are so excited to continue to learn about her personality and watch her grow. She loves Logan so much and I am so excited that they love each other!!!

Logan turned 3 on June 6th. He is the sweetest boy ever. On the morning of his birthday he woke up and said...I am I 3 now? I said yes (of course he was not actually 3 until 1:11) and he smiled so big and said "That makes me so happy" This little man is amazing!

He knows all of his letters by site and knows the sound they make and what word they are for. He can count to 20
He is potty trained (has been sense March 12th and through the night)
He is a master negotiator (how about I play for 3 minutes and then I will pick up the toys)
He is just so smart!!
He loves to sing!!

He loves to be outside
He loves to be a big brother, I have been so amazed how much he loves Addison.
He is so funny, he loves to make us laugh.
He is so thoughtful, he is always worried about others feelings and making sure we are all happy!

I can not imagine my life without him. He has blessed my life so much it is amazing. I see this amazing person growing inside him! I feel so blessed that the Lord trusted me with such an amazing little man to teach me. He has made me a better person! I can not even find all the words to describe my love for him!! He is a part of me!!

So last night we were driving home from dinner and Addison was screaming like crazy...she gets mad while in the car more often then not these days. Poor Logan just plugs his little ears and says mama it is too loud for my ears, can you put the pacifier in her mouth. Which I thought was so sweet that he recognized there was a solution to his problem and he was asking for help. When I told my mom about this she said most kids would throw something at the baby or get upset. But last night I saw how much a big brother can love a little sister!
So last night while she was screaming he sweetly said to me, "mama I think she might be hungry, do you have a bottle and I will feed her."
I said "Yes buddy that would be awesome, are you sure you want to do that?" I handed him the bottle and he got it right in her mouth and she stopped screaming. The look on his face was amazing. He knew that he had done it, he on his own had stopped the crying. I told him how proud I was of him and my sweet boy in response said "Yeah you are proud of me because I am a big helper"...LOVE!
So when she was done he took the bottle out and she started crying again (because it is more that she is mad then she is hungry) and he started to cry and said mama she is crying at me. The poor little man thought she was upset at him! So I comforted him and told him that she was just tired of being in the car and she has no other way to talk to us right now but one day she will be able to use her words to tell us what she wants or needs. He then told me he was worried about her because she was sad.
I am so amazed by this sweet little boy, pretty much everyday. What kind of love and understanding to you have to have to see someone else having a hard time that is affecting you and you want to help them. As adults I often think we get so caught up in what our problem is that is someone is ruining our ride home we get mad, maybe say mean things, or throw something at them to try and get them to stop. Instead of thinking, they must have something going on, what can I do to help so we can all be happy! That is love, that is pure unadulterated love. So when it says in the Bible that we should be like little children, I believe this is what Christ meant! So my goal going forward is to be be like my sweet Logan, to see the other person as a friend, someone that I may be able to help, someone that I can love!

Bob's Big 40!!

April 24th, Bob turned 40...when I asked what he wanted he said to not have a birthday. Well, that is just not in me to not make birthday's a big deal so I worked my hardest to not make a big deal of it...we had a quiet family dinner with cookies, cake and ice cream at the end and we sang Happy Birthday!

The one thing I knew Bob wanted for his birthday was a motorcycle license...and you have to take a safety course for that so I gave him "a motorcycle birthday"...he will take the class next weekend and then he can ride with his friend...who just happens to be the Bishop of our ward and is so excited to have someone licenced to ride with :) I envision lots of riding in the future.

We moved again and hopefully for the last time (at least for a few years) We moved in January, and have been working on things slowly :) After searching for what seemed like forever...we finally found a house that worked perfect for us. We were so excited. It needed(s) some work but it is all ours!! The pictures are in after/before order :)

Addison's Birth Story!

Now that she is 5 weeks old I guess I should document her story...

April 2nd at 11:00pm we headed to the hospital...I had been in early labor for a couple days and my contractions were about 7 min apart. A wonderful couple in the ward came and stayed the night with Logan so we could let him sleep. We were at the hospital until about 5 am, they slowed down my contractions and told me to see my dr on Monday. I was scheduled for a c-section on the 13th so we were a little a head of schedule. We spent the rest of the weekend being still so that I would not start things up again!! Monday I went to the dr and she said that in order to do the c-section earlier then 39 weeks we needed to either be dilated or we could do an amnio to check for lung maturity. I opted for the amnio as I was not dilated. So Tuesday morning Bob and I headed to the hospital for the amnio. It was not bad at all, it took a few hours to get the results but we found out it was a go for the next morning...the 6th. So because we were a week ahead of schedule, my mother in law came down to help with Logan before my parents got into town, and my friend Erin helped too, they were both wonderful and I appreciated their help so much! So we headed to the hospital for a 2:00pm check in!

They got me all hooked up to the machines and got my IV in (after 2 tries, which were more painful then the epidural!) They got the epidural in and I saw what felt like 15 people, Dr Lambert came in to check on me and we were on our way!!! I was so glad that Bob got to be with me thru the whole thing. Once we were in the operating room things happen in what feels like slow motion while you are waiting to hear that wonderful sound of her first cry. Finally after lots of pulling and pressure and me asking question after question to the poor nurse and anaesthesiologist we heard her and Bob got to see her for the first time!!

She made her arrival at a grand 9 lbs 1 oz and 21 inchs long!!

They took her over to check her and Bob got to go with her and make sure she was good. They wrapped her up and brought her over to me to say hello before they took her to recovery.

They got me all closed up and took me to recovery to be with Addison. I am so glad that they let me keep her with me, that is a new policy from when I had Logan. I got to breastfeed her with in the first hour which was amazing and I think that made a huge difference in being able to have her latch!!

I loved her from the moment I saw her!!

The rule in order to leave recovery is that you have to bend your knees and lift up your butt...which I think is just cruel given that you just got your stomach cut open! But I had a goal and I was focused!! We had her at 3:34 and we were in our room by 6! It was an amazing experience again! The nurses and dr's at the hospital are all amazing and I was so grateful that they took such good care of both Addison and I! We were so happy to expand our family and she is just perfect!! I am so grateful for the blessing that having a child brings and that we were able to have such a healthy beautiful little girl!! I am grateful for the trust that the Lord has in Bob and I to raise 2 of his children!!!

First weekend in April!!

The weekend before we had Addison, we did a little photoshoot with some ladies in the ward that are learning photography and they wanted a pregnant subject :) (yes please)

So these are a few of the shots they got!! I am really happy with them!! It was a good way to spend Saturday morning...because Saturday night we went to the hospital with contractions every 7 min...more on that story in the next post!

Caroline and Chris' Wedding

On March 25th, Caroline and Chris got married...I was 38 weeks pregnant with Addison :) I was a bridesmaid and Logan was the ring bearer...he was so cute it was insane!! It was a beautiful ceremony and we were so lucky to be apart of it!!

Christmas Cookies

Logan and I made some Christmas Cookies and decorated them!! We had never done this before so I was pretty excited!!

Running Wild

Logan has been sick for about a week and we have been giving him a oral steroid that makes him super wild. He is SUPER funny but he needs space to run! So we took him to the Yacht and Beach Club Resort tonight so he could run on the sand and big grass area. He has gotten so grown up in the past few weeks...he is so smart! As we pulled up he said, "Oh we are going to Epcot?" We part at the hotels to get a good walk to the park!!

I know that is a lame title...but it is all I could come up with...I needed to get them off my phone, and now that they are I am just going to do a big long photo post!

We had a fun party at the water park...and as always Maggie and Logan did not disappoint!

Bob picked up his phone to answer a call and Logan picked up my BB and started talking to Mimi!!

We got Bob a new suit for all the interviewing he is doing...and Logan's favorite part was the mirrors. He also on a weekly basis asks if we can go to the "soup" (suit) store.

It is hard to see, but one Sunday morning Logan got up early and wanted to watch Mickey Mouse - and this is what I woke up to after Bob brought him to bed!

We had a sick little munchkin for about 6 weeks and we finally got the Dr to say it was more then just a cough. So we had to do nebulizer treatments for 2 weeks, and I am glad to say we have our little man back!!

We went to Bass Pro Shop on Saturday to see if they had some flip flops for Bob...and we found way more then just shoes. Logan found a whole row of boats he told Bob he wanted. We also saw all kinds of animals inside!!

He thinks he is ready to drive the boat!

NEMO's and Bruce - everything is some how related to a Disney movie these days!!

We found a new movie for Logan to try and he as you can tell, LOVES it!! Thank you Pixar!! Monster's Inc - Cars and Finding Nemo are our staples!!!!

Nana

My name is Emily LaVelle (Warner) Ulmer. I am named after my Grandmothers. I have been thinking so much about my Nana (mom's mom LaVelle) over the past month or so. I think I think about her when I think "what would I do with out my mom". My mother is the most amazing women, she can fix anything, she teaches, she knows so much...she sings beautifully. She creates, she loves our Savior and she is the greatest example I have of love, compassion and motherhood!! I know that she got those qualities from her mother and I can only hope to someday be half the woman these women are. There was nothing more important to Nana then her family...and especially her grandchildren (I always like to think that I was her favorite!!) When I think of her I think of LOVE. Love that you can feel almost smell and touch!! I remember the day I had Logan, it was hectic and amazing. I remember right before I went to sleep that first night, that he had just left her and I wanted to hold him so that I could feel her!

This is Tim, me, Nana and Chelsea. She has been gone for 22 years and I am grateful everyday that I knew her.

Swimming and Disney Fun

Logan has been taking swimming lessons for a week now and we have a little boy that loves the water!! He loves swimming with Miss Christine! I was a bit worried that he would hate it, but he LOVES it. We went swimming this weekend and all he wanted to do was swim to the steps!

We went to Disney with a family in our ward and went on Small World!! You can see how much he loves it!!

The fireworks...Logan has talked about the fireworks every day several times a day since we saw them on the 4th of July. So because we are so blessed to be able to go to Disney often and for free we thought we would go and see the fireworks...the following pictures are all that need to be said.

Someone posted the other day on Facebook that even when you know it is a costume, there is something magic that happens when you visit The Mouse. I must say that seeing all of this through the eyes of my sweet little bear is the most wonderful thing!! I love watching him get so excited about see new things and loving it with all his heart!! He is so sweet, I could not ask for a happier, healthier, more fun little boy ever!!

One of the things we learned at swimming I have been thinking about a lot. Miss Christine said to Bob, don't reach for him and don't pull him up. Put your hands out and let him make the choice. He has to save himself. You put your hands there and he can choose to take them. I loved that. It is the plan of salvation! We have "hands" out there waiting for us to choose to take them. Oh I love learning things again!

These are in a bit of a backward order...but here goes. Logan and I met up with the Larsen's at Hollywood Studio's and Bob met us in the afternoon. We are ramping up for Logan's birthday. I clearly know that I am much more excited then he is...but I just can't help it!

Tonight after dinner, we heard a noise. Logan looked at Bob and I and said "Oh No, what is that sound!!" So we went outside and a helicopter had landed in the field behind our house. There and been an accident so they were life flighting someone out. Not a good reason to see a helicopter, but Logan loved it none the less. I also realized it had been a week or sense my last post and last picture I took of Logan. Things have been busy busy busy around our house, but we are happy and healthy and loving our little man!!

What a face my baby bear has on him! We had spaghetti for dinner, so we take his clothes off, I don't normally just let my baby run around in his diaper.

There is a cute little Museum in Winter Haven about 30 min from our house. Bob actually lived up there when we first met. We used to go and have dinner at a fun little diner and then walk down Main Street. So we decide while we were out there tonight to let Logan go and look at the trains and other fun boy things. They had a fun band playing in the center of Main Street. It is a fun little town and Logan loved the train!!

I have no pictures for this post...I just wanted to write about our night. Bob and I love to listen to music. Logan asked if we could listen to music and dance!! So I turned on the music and Logan and I danced. I picked him up and we danced together for a min, he put his head on my shoulder and hugged me. He then poped his head up and said "It's fun" "dancing" "mama". I almost cried. He is so sweet. It is nights like tonight that make me so happy that I am the mama of my Logie Bear. I can not imagine my life with out him!

I was able to work from home a couple days this week because Bob started the work for the Census. It is a 6 week gig, we are so grateful for!! We had a great week. I love my boys and am grateful for the joy that they both bring into my life! Here are some pics from the past few days!!

What a HAPPY BOY!! I love him so much. He wakes up happy and I love hanging with him in the morning!!

Logan wanted to "workin" with mama!! He kept saying "mama workin?" He is so funny!! I love him!! He colored and drew for 30 min!

This was his time as an assistant!! He colored for 45 min with me this time!!! I was so happy he was such a big big boy while I was working!!

YO DAWG!! Bob walked into the closet the other morning and this is what he found!! He is such a HAM!

These were from a few weeks ago, but they were cute and I wanted to add them!! Disney did a fun thing for Easter for their Cast Members. We got to see Mickey and Minnie and Logan LOVED IT!

Logan was sad because he knew we had to leave after we took our picture with them!! I love that he loves them so much!! What a wonderful time we have together! I am grateful everyday for the time that I have with my boys! I am ever mindful that I am blessed, not everyone has as much time as we do and not everyone has a husband like I do!! With us both working, we have had to figure out our schedule again and I am so grateful to have a partner, team mate and friend!! We make a great team!! Love you!!

So a week or so ago we moved into a new house...we are renting for a while until we have a plan for our little family. Moving out of Florida, staying in Florida....we want to be ready for what ever the Lord has planned for us!!

We got the chance to go to The Hoop-de-doo Review last Saturday with some friends to celebrate their Samuel's 2nd birthday. He and Logan are friends in nursery at church. We had a great time!!

19 Months

I often look at this sweet little face and think how blessed I am to have this sweet little person. Heavenly Father has blessed me beyond what I deserve and I hope that I am doing everything for this boy to turn into a great man! I often wonder how Heavenly Father feels about his children and I know that when he go though our trials that Jesus is with us and knows every hard thing we are going through, but for the sweet moments of joy I can only imagine as our Father he feels great happiness for us and enjoys seeing us be joyful! So for this I am beyond grateful! He has given us joy that I could not have hoped for and love that I know I will never be able to find words for! I know that God lives and that he loves me and wants me to be happy! What a great and amazing knowledge to have!

Logan got this fun plane from my mother for Christmas and he got it in the mail yesterday. He spent most of the day watching Thomas the Tank Engine and pushing his plane around with things on it. He was giving all his toys a ride! He also learned to say "train" instead of calling them "choo, choo's"! So smart!

We went to Chipolte on New Year's Eve! We know how to party that is for sure!!

Christmas Fun

We have been in Utah for a little over a week now and I am trying to play catch up with pictures and I think I might be doing that for a while. It has been so fun for all of us to be together and for Logan and Bob to get to play in the snow and just get to be with family. We had a great Christmas, Logan took it upon himself to "help" open all of the gifts under the tree. He just thought they were all for him!! He had a great time.

He has not figured out what to call Fun Aunt Carlee yet, I can't wait to hear what he comes up with! It has been a huge blessing to be able to be home and have a few days of less stress before we have to head home. Thanks to FAC, Mimi and Popi for entertaining Logan and Mimi and Popi for all they did for us while we were here and all they did in preparation for our arrival! It is amazing the bond Logan has formed with my parents - we will all be sad to leave!

Our ward party was this last weekend and Logan and I took our picture with Santa and Mrs Claus. It was a nice party and Logan had a good time with all the kids! He loves his little friends in nursery. YES, we have a nursery kid. It might have been the greatest day of our life!! He has such a great time with the other kids and is so sweet and such a bog boy.

I am so grateful for Heavenly Father's guidance. I wanted to bear my testimony last week in church and there was not enough time so I am going to use my blog as my outlet! I have been thinking a lot lately about being a mother and the role I will play in my son's life. How there will be times that I will be able to kiss things better but there will come a time when he will need a healing that I can not provide. I am so grateful for the atonement and the knowledge that I have of its truth. I am acutely aware at this point in my life the love of Heavenly Father and am grateful for his love. I am grateful for the power of prayer and the peace that it has provided Bob and I this past week. I am grateful that my family will be together forever. I am grateful for the support that family has provided and the love that I have felt, stronger then ever. I am grateful for the little things that make me smile. Having my first conversation with Logan today was one of them.

I love this little boy more then words can describe. I am so so grateful for all the joys I have been granted and the ones I have to look forward to. Life is good and am happy it is. Heavenly Father has a plan and I am grateful he does.

Our family moto is "Go big or go home" and we have just added a new one, "We choose faith over fear" I love you honey and can not imagine going through life with anyone else!

So these are in the backward order, so we will start at the end. We drove 10 hrs up and 12 hrs back. Logan was dancing to "I wanna be like you" from the Jungle Book...He was so funny.

We had a great time with the family in Mississippi. It was nice to be with family and enjoy some down time! We are so thankful for our families and for Logan. What a sweet boy he is and reminds us so often just to let life be. That it is all better with a Logan kiss and running to you with a smile on his face yelling MAMA. I am so grateful for my amazing husband. He amazes me everyday with his will to endure and his love of our little munchkin. I am so blessed.

We are back and in the swing of things...with just enough time to do laundry, repack and head to the beautiful snowy mountains of Utah!!

Motherhood and Work

So often I find that I wish I was doing more journaling about things Logan is doing...I used to be much better about blogging and I am going to make a commitment to myself and to my child to do it more often! I have been thinking a lot lately about being a working mom and I realized the other night...I used to get "ready" everyday, like all the way ready. Hair done, lipstick earrings, necklace and nice clothes. Now a days I just get by some days I am just happy I got a shower and got to work with out waffle crumbs on me and snot on my shoulder. I know all moms feel this way at some point! So I started today, I am going to change my ways for me and my boys!

Last night Logan and I were sitting on the floor and playing Patty Cake for the 29th time and he walked behind me and leaned against my back and wiggled for a min. He then bent over and put his little hands under my bum and started grunting...he was trying to get me stand up! It was so funny. He then walked around me and said, Go mama go! I LOVE HIM!

We went to EPCOT the other night and saw Boyz II Men and enjoyed the Food and Wine Festival!! Caroline and Chris came with us!

We had so much fun tonight, I love spending time with my family! I know that there is much in life to be worried about and to stress us out! But tonight for the first time in a few weeks I just was. It was so fun to spend time with some of the people in our ward.

Last week we had a Stake Conference and one of the speakers said somethings that really resonated with me!

It made me really start to understand that what happens here on earth is supposed to help us grow stronger but at the end of the day, there is a better place we get to be with our families. Things are hard, really hard, but with the faith and love from Heavenly Father we can make it through anything. I love knowing he has faith in me, that He thinks I am more capable then I do! Being a working mom and wife is not always easy but I would not change anything in my life right now for anything! I am so blessed and so grateful that Heavenly Father loves me enough to let me be the mother of the most amazing child on this earth and that I get to share everything with the love of my life!

Not Too Much Happening!

This is the Pinky and The Brain look we are starting to get these days...we have not had a lot going on the last few weeks. I have been working a lot and staying up late. Missing my boys in the morning but getting home in time for dinner and a little play time. We had a fin dinner with Anna, Anthony and the boys!!! No pictures yet of the newest member of their family, but congrats on Ethan. We can't wait to meet him!!

He is just learning and growing so much everyday...it is amazing!

I also want to take this opportunity to thank my sweet husband...for being patient with me as I have worked almost every night this week, as work is getting more stressful he just keeps and even keel and makes sure I have clean clothes for work and keeps our house clean and takes amazing care of my sweet baby!!! I love you baby and am so grateful that I get to be married to you!!!

2 years headed to Eternity

Bob and I were able to celebrate our 2 year anniversary of being married and 1 year of being sealed. We have our anniversaries 3 days apart. We went to Tampa and spent the night! It was so fun to be able to spend some kid less time together!

I am so lucky that even after a picture like this, this man wanted to be married to me. I am so grateful that after all we have gone through we still love being together. I can not imagine my life with out you baby and I cant wait to see what the rest of our life has in store! More babies as beautiful as our son and more fun then we already have! I am so happy that we have not let the stress of our life get to us, that we can just enjoy it. I love you baby and can not wait for eternity!

Quick weekend update! Early in the week Logan and Bob went to a fun new park that we found. It has all kinds of fun things for Logan to climb on...and best of all it has sun shades, to protect the little ones from the HOT HOT Florida sun. It is really a great park. I also has a fun little water area that Logan is in love with.

I know it looks like he is hanging from the rope but he is not, he is just hanging through it.

We went to dinner with Caroline and Chris to thank them for watching Logan. This is Logan saying AHHHHHH so that Bob would eat his goldfish. Love the mimic stage!

HE IS A GOOBER!

Bob had taken his goldfish, and made it swim on the table like a shark and so then Logan was doing it. It was so funny.

Jack and Riley had a birthday party last Sunday and we I got a few pictures of the birthday boy and his cake! This is Kim and Jack...so cute!

I hope that this post comes out coherent! I am sick and just took some Sudafed, not sure what I was thinking but here goes. We have had a few fun things happen over the past few weeks so here is our update!

We went to the Bucs game last week. We got free tickets to the game when we went to training camp! We got to sit right in front of the Pirate Ship and it was totally awesome!!

I have been thinking a lot these days about gratitude. I was given 2 HUGE bags of clothes from a women that I used to work with. We have been so blessed with people giving us hand me downs and I have never been more grateful! So as we have been growing like a weed and being grateful for the wonderful family that we have we had the chance to go to Bucs Training Camp and catch a few pics of us around the house...ENJOY!!

I have found that as I get older and the more days that go by how important it is to find something that brings you joy. While Bob and Logan bring me a joy I have could never have imagined I needed a "me" thing. When I got pregnant with Logan and we had decided on Logan for his name I started a little project. I found it with my mom for one of our trips to California together. I have now finally finished it and found it a home. I put it with a "year by month" frame I got as a gift...I LOVE IT!

Thanks to Mary for the awesome vinyl! I know it is a quote from "Hitch" but I love it!!

I love my house, and have decided to take a picture of a room every once in a while and post it.

This post is in defense of myself. While we were at the hospital today I had Logan when we picked Bob up. ALL OF THE WOMEN...all of them loved Logan, he kept smiling at them and talking to them. They all said oh my goodness he looks just like his dad, and while this does not bother my, I married the man so I think he is very handsome and I always want the boys to look like the daddy and the girls to look like the mommy...I found a picture that my mother scanned and I just have to say, he looks a little like me!!

Hospital Stay

So I don't have any pictures of this thankfully...Bob and I spent the night in the hospital. Bob passed out and then hit his head so we took him in. They admitted him, which he was happy about but we are home now. Logan stayed with one of the families in our ward and we could not be more grateful for them!
We learned many things about the Celebration Hospital...but more important we learned that being healthy is important and even if we think that the test might be over kill it is better to have the test and it be negative then to not have the test!!!
Bob got a clean bill of health and our plan is not to have to be in the hospital again until I have another baby....which will be a while!!

We are so grateful to have family and friends that took care of us and we felt the support all the way here in Orlando!!! Thank you and we love you!

July 18th

I have had lots of time to think about July 18th for the last few days. July 18th was the day that I started with Disney 5 years ago and the day that my Grandmother "Nana" passed away. After having Logan I have thought about her more and more often. My middle name is LaVelle after her and I love that! I am so grateful that I was able to know her and that I am able to still her stories about her for my mama...my favorite story of Nana is after my mom had been married for several years and at the very least had me Nana still spelled S-E-X...even though we have spent many years with out her she is still with us and we all still learn from her everyday!!!

The video is a little jumpy as Emily and I are passing the camera back in forth. Sorry about that. He has now figured out how to walk, doesn't do it all the time, crawling is still much faster means of getting around. Also yesterday, he managed to stand up on his own from a squating position without holding onto anything.

My sweet little man turned 1 last Friday. I can not believe that it has been a whole year. He is such a funny, smart, adventurous little boy, and if I do say so my self he is beautiful!! He is so much for to watch and be with.
