First Day at Disney and other week 4 events!

We had our first outing to Disney World this week. We only rode the monorail, but it was fun! Our Mimi loves Disney and wanted Logan to go for a ride! We also had lunch at the Contemporary (a hotel on property). He did not look this scared the whole time! He actually really enjoyed it!

We also went and met daddy at work for the 4th of July. They had nice fireworks and dancing. We had some dinner and Greg (Bob's brother), Laura and Caleb came down for the event and we got to see them for the first time. Greg and Laura got married in April.

We had our first play date with Greyson on Monday night. Greyson was born on May 12th. I worked with Anna at Disney and we have been friends since then! It is so fun to get together.

3 Weeks Already...

I can not believe that our little boy is 3 weeks old. We have had many adventures over the past 3 weeks. We went to the Dr for our 2 week appt and weighed in at 7 lbs 13 oz that is 5 oz over birth weight.

We went to Reunion and met Bob for lunch. Logan loves his daddy and was happy to go on a car trip! Mom was able to drive again, it made her very happy! Mimi (my mom) was here to help us for the full 3 weeks. It was wonderful to have her here to help me recover and help with Logan! She went home yesterday, so mom, dad and Logan had their first bath time alone, we were sucessful!

We had the Mangum's over for dinner and our first "play date" with Maggie! As you can see the kids were totally enthralled with the whole thing!

Fun Aunt Carlee suprised us with a visit. She came in on Saturday morning. She and Aunt Caroline did a super job suprising all of us!!

Eventful Day

Today has been a very eventful day for the entire family. Mommy had her Dr visit today to get her staples removed from the C-Section. Everything went great and she is healing very well.

After Mommy's Dr visit, Logan had his first Pediatric visit and got to meet Dr. Robbins. He was given a great bill of health. He has a hint of Jaundice, which is very common in new borns and doesn't require anything other than getting a little indirect sunshine. Apparently the UV rays from the sun are the best thing to resolve jaundice.

We all got home and then Daddy passed out from exhaustion. To add insult to no sleep, Daddy has caught a cold and is trying to make sure no one else in the house gets it too.

The final traumatic event of the day for Logan was his first bath. We have decided that this is not Logan's favorite thing to do and would prefer to never have to do it again.

HE'S HERE!!!

He weighed in at 7lbs 7oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. He is perfect in every way. He has his mommy's furrowed brow and his dad's poutty lip.

We opted to have a C-Section after ultrasounds and repeated doctor visits kept indicating that he was going to be a very large baby.
