Things I love about Logan - in pictures!
He is so interested in everything around him - even if we don't want him to be quite so interested (opening the electronics cabinet - I know I am not helping by taking his picture but he gets so excited when he gets to play with the handles and make them make the knocking sound) You can not see it very well in this picture but he was laughing and talking to the door!
This is not product placement I promise!!! He loves Handy Many - he looks so big (and tired) in this picture I just can not believe he is 8 months old!
PASSION!!! This little boy has more drive and passion than both Bob and I combined...well I guess that makes sense! He has a furious drive about everything he does...including teething!
He is going to have great hair! Unlike mommy's it is straight but is showing great potential (Mimi we need to find the one of me in the tub...you know which one I am talking about!)
He is a big helper! He is always wanting to help me with my hair and help me carry things! At the time I might not think of it as helpful but he always reminds me with his sweet face..."Mommy I am just trying to help"
He loves church, really he thinks that they all show up to see him. But none the less he loves going and helping the people with their talks, lessons and when mommy sings he helps me to!
He is willing to hang with me while I get my hair cut! He was so patient while I got my hair cut! I could not ask for a better little munchkin!
He is so cute and talkative...I always have someone to talk to.
He has a sense of adventure...even if he does not know what he is getting into he is willing to take the dive...I was sitting there talking with Bob and playing with Logan...literally 2 second later his is up under the table...in the magazine box!
HE IS ALL BOY AND HE IS ALL MINE! Love it, live it...Go Big or Go Home! He is living proof that what goes around comes around...and I have apologized to my mother more then once to try and make up for some of it :)
I am so in love with this little man, who has not been out as long as he was in, but I feel like I have known him forever. What a blessing he is in my life, my life has changed so drastically in the past year and I have so much for to do and to worry about now...and I would not change one second of it for anything! Heavenly Father always knows just what we want and need and if we are patient, He ALWAYS gives us more than we could have ever dreamed of.
Now, on a side note...I am the Primary Chorister in our ward and as always...kids say the funniest things! There is a lot of sadness in our ward and so you never know what the kids are going to say...so I get nervous when I ask questions sometimes. So, on Sunday I was talking about how there are so many ways to hear or receive the words of the Savior (we were learning How Firm a Foundation and talking about the line "What more can He say then to you He hath said) So I asked the kids if they had ever heard someone talk about Jesus or about our Church on TV...not thinking that most of us in the mission field have to still get dressed up and go to Church to watch (we have Direct-TV now so PJ's on General Conf weekend is back again!!) The cutest little girl raised her hand (I was so proud we have been working very hard on this) and said "I have never seen any thing like that...I only see Barack Obama...I think that is the same!" I laughed and said that is neat, but I was talking more about President Monson. Kids are too smart, what a great and challenging place Primary is!

Super Bowl Sunday
Nothing much going on with us...a little flu (thanks to the wonderful Citrus Ridge Ward). Bob is the only one so far so we hope that he is the only victim - we are happy he is feeling better! Logan is crawling like a champ and thinking about the option of pulling himself up on things, we are hoping he waits a while to do that! I would like to get used to the crawling before we start another "trick"
Here are some fun pics from Super Bowl Sunday!
"YEAH - Go Uncle Kurt!" Yes that is a Buc's jersey...it was all we had!
