Christmas Fun

We have been in Utah for a little over a week now and I am trying to play catch up with pictures and I think I might be doing that for a while. It has been so fun for all of us to be together and for Logan and Bob to get to play in the snow and just get to be with family. We had a great Christmas, Logan took it upon himself to "help" open all of the gifts under the tree. He just thought they were all for him!! He had a great time.

Christmas morning tradition - picture of the kids on or by the stairs...we all look totally awesome!

Logie Bear and Popi reading books - this was something that Logan loved!!

Logan and Bob in front of BYU. We had a nice time walking around and doing a little shopping. Logan loves to stand on everything and say "TADA".

Logan got a fun Mickey Plane from Mimi and Popi - along with a whole ton of other fun things. I am so excited for Logan to get to play with everything.

Logan opening up the Handy Manny tool set - this was a hit!!!

We went to Temple Square on Christmas Eve to see the lights and there was a nice side effect of freezing to death!! :) FAC, Popi, Mimi, Mama and Logan!!! He was so snuggled up!

The whole gang in front of the Temple. Logan not looking, but we were so cold and then man that took this was so nice to step away from his family for a few min to help us.

Mimi, Popi and Logie Bear - yes the hat is over his eyes!!!

Mama and Logan - I really like this picture!

Fun Aunt Carlee and Logie Bear - both freezing!!

We went to dinner with Laura, Greg, Caleb and cute Hollis. We had so much fun!! So glad we got to see them while we were in the same state...that does not happen very often!

My cute little man. I told him he could have a balloon and this was the face we got!! Thanks Greg for capturing this face!

The whole gang!! Bob, Me, Logan, Caleb, Hollis, Laura and Greg!

Logan and Hollis wondering what all the adults are talking about and why we did not get them balloons earlier!

Logan loved getting all dressed up and playing in the snow.

More smiles and snow!

Too Cute

We went to the zoo - it was cold! He was so snuggled - we all were!

Daddy and Logan - love this pic!

Boys know how to have fun!

CHEESE!

Exploring!

So much fun!

Mimi got Logan this super fun climbing toy! Logan loves it!

We got a few things from Laura to keep at my mom's house for baby number 2 (I am not pregnant, just planning) and Logan decided that he wanted to play with all of it!

We got a chance to catch up with my friend Bethanie and her cute little new one William! It was so fun to see a little munchkin!! The mama's and there boys!!

Bethanie, William and Steve. Too Cute!

I had the chance to go to lunch with my cousin and am so grateful for all the stars aligning for us to be able to get together!!!
We have had a great time. I am not ready to go home yet, it has been so fun to see Logan and my parents playing! He walks around the house saying "mimi" "popi" trying to find them and gets so excited when he sees them. He has not figured out what to call Fun Aunt Carlee yet, I can't wait to hear what he comes up with! It has been a huge blessing to be able to be home and have a few days of less stress before we have to head home. Thanks to FAC, Mimi and Popi for entertaining Logan and Mimi and Popi for all they did for us while we were here and all they did in preparation for our arrival! It is amazing the bond Logan has formed with my parents - we will all be sad to leave!

A few fun things

Our ward party was this last weekend and Logan and I took our picture with Santa and Mrs Claus. It was a nice party and Logan had a good time with all the kids! He loves his little friends in nursery. YES, we have a nursery kid. It might have been the greatest day of our life!! He has such a great time with the other kids and is so sweet and such a bog boy.

Cute Santa and Mrs Claus - they are primary teachers in our ward!

Our Christmas Tree. Thanks to Aunt Caroline for letting us borrow her tree! I love this time of year and am so grateful we got to have a tree!

Logan and daddy trying on daddy's tie. He is so funny. He heard my camera snap and looked at Bob and said "CHEESE" too cute.

Yes, that is Celine Dion...and I am the third person on the front row. What an amazing experience it was to sing with her. Watch for us on the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade on Christmas morning!!

Logan is going to be a mechanic or a an engineer. He is so cute. I walked in and this is what I saw and he talked me through everything he did!

Yeah, he puts this on his head and walks around, then takes it off and says peek-a boo.
I am so grateful for Heavenly Father's guidance. I wanted to bear my testimony last week in church and there was not enough time so I am going to use my blog as my outlet! I have been thinking a lot lately about being a mother and the role I will play in my son's life. How there will be times that I will be able to kiss things better but there will come a time when he will need a healing that I can not provide. I am so grateful for the atonement and the knowledge that I have of its truth. I am acutely aware at this point in my life the love of Heavenly Father and am grateful for his love. I am grateful for the power of prayer and the peace that it has provided Bob and I this past week. I am grateful that my family will be together forever. I am grateful for the support that family has provided and the love that I have felt, stronger then ever. I am grateful for the little things that make me smile. Having my first conversation with Logan today was one of them.
Logan: Whas at "what's that"
Me: I don't know, what is that? - I had answered several times already, it was a mop.
Logan: A choo choo
Me: Oh its a choo choo.
Logan: Oh coul "oh cool"
Logan: Kank u "thank you"
I love this little boy more then words can describe. I am so so grateful for all the joys I have been granted and the ones I have to look forward to. Life is good and am happy it is. Heavenly Father has a plan and I am grateful he does.
Our family moto is "Go big or go home" and we have just added a new one, "We choose faith over fear" I love you honey and can not imagine going through life with anyone else!

Table Dancing

Thanksgiving fun in Mississippi

So these are in the backward order, so we will start at the end. We drove 10 hrs up and 12 hrs back. Logan was dancing to "I wanna be like you" from the Jungle Book...He was so funny.

Logan starting the moves.

he is getting into it now

The final move. Too funny.

Bob and Logan at the Florida Welcome Center looking at the big airplane.

The last night we were in Mississippi Logan and Charleigh did a little show on the table for all the grown ups...it was so funny. Logan was doing some fancy moves.

TA-DA

I LOVE THIS PICTURE OF MY BOYS!!!! SO CUTE!

Mommy, Logan and Daddy - on the big army trucks at the farm.

I think this might be our best picture...Thanks to Shelby, Cindi and Autumn for all of their help! Each of them had a job - they did amazing.

My sweet baby boy! I love that little face. His poor little nose. He was leaning over to get something on the porch and tipped over and landed on his little nose. Poor little munchkin.

I wish this one was less dark, I really like it...we are all at least looking in the same direction!

Logan and Jethro...he loved going to see him. He would ask for MOO. We tried to get him to say HEE HAW but he just kept saying MOO.
He would stand at the backdoor of the house crying, MOO, WHOOF WHOOF, MEOW - OUWSIDE. Until someone would take him out. Most often it was Glen that would take him. He loved being outside with the animals!!

Gandy, Nan, Bob, Papaw, Aunt Jami, Mommy and Logan!!

Nan, Aunt Jami, Logie Bear and Daddy

More of the awesome dancing!!!

Logan got to play in the Tupperware cabinet...as you can see he did not enjoy it at all!!!
We had a great time with the family in Mississippi. It was nice to be with family and enjoy some down time! We are so thankful for our families and for Logan. What a sweet boy he is and reminds us so often just to let life be. That it is all better with a Logan kiss and running to you with a smile on his face yelling MAMA. I am so grateful for my amazing husband. He amazes me everyday with his will to endure and his love of our little munchkin. I am so blessed.
We are back and in the swing of things...with just enough time to do laundry, repack and head to the beautiful snowy mountains of Utah!!
Happy Holidays!
