Happy Birthday Nan

Happy Birthday to Nan, Happy Birthday to Nan, Happy Birthday to Nan, Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday Nan...love you!

Logan on his Lion.
He is so cute, he was so excited

I LOVE this face! What a little buster!

He liked the lion's nose.

He had a fun time today playing...good thing because this mommy needed a little quiet time.

More of Logan playing.

How cute is this little man. He is getting so big. He looks like a big boy these days.

Too much fun playing with his Barn Yard.

He loves his barnyard and all of the animals.

He has found a new chew toy...my cell phone cover. If I knew that was going to make him happy I would have just bought that and not so many actual "chew" toys.

He is so intense about the things he does. He was facinated with the little dog that was on his pant leg. Yes, that is squash spit up on his shirt...but you know what, it was almost bed time so I just left him in it!!

Logan's First Christmas...

I have a lot to catch up on...so I am just going to start. It is going to be a stream of consciousness. I took the week off to spend it with Logan. We had so much fun. All kinds of fun things happened. We went to Magic Kingdom with the Carey's and hung out together. Bob worked a lot so it was a lot of Mommy and Logan time. The pictures are in a crazy order, but there are so many...so hold on here we go!

This was last Friday morning...he was watching Handy Manny. So cute.

Bob and I went to the bank on Wednesday morning and Logan sat up like a big boy and watched the WAMU girls...as always they were just smitten by him!

This was how we started at the MK...so happy and ready for the ride!

Then we watched the parade, not so happy anymore!

Mommy and Logan trying on the Santa hats that I got for the ward Christmas party. He loved it!

We tried some finger painting today...more of these to follow!

One of his presents from Mom and Dad...he loves his drums!

We got a new BIG BOY car seat...he fell asleep on the way home from the store. Please note that I said on the way home. I struggled with this stupid car seat for almost an hour before I finally just took it out of the box and installed it. It sounds easier then it was, but we have it in now!

We tried out a few of the other big boy seats while we were there! This is a BIG BIG boy seat...a toddler booster but it was funny none the less.

Then Aunt Caroline thought it would be funny to try him in his new seat, once we opened it up!! He thought it was so fun in the box.

So now for Christmas morning...he was so happy.

Aunt Caroline and Logan at the McClellan's for dinner on Christmas Day. We had a great time!

Bob had Logan on the chair and Logan wanted to take the chair with him when Bob was ready to pick him up. Our little Strong Man.

Logan pulling on Bob's hair. Now he knows what it feels like to be me.

Logan loves Bob's watch...they were just hanging out!

Logan has now started to react to Peek-a-boo. I was dying, he was laughing so hard it was so cute!
He was talking to Mimi, Popi and F.A.C. (Fun Aunt Carlee) on the phone/web cam. Just love the face!

Kloe and Logan chatting on Christmas Eve at the Carey's.

This was what we got first thing Christmas morning...I love him so much!

Just happy to be up! Little did he know that Santa, Mimi, Popi, Mom, Dad, Nan and Papaw got him a whole bunch of fun paper to eat!! We got some great gifts, thank you so much for everything!!!

This is his Rocking Lion...he likes to touch his mane.

This is not a Christmas photo, but like I said I am catching up! He loves the electronics, he had so much fun playing with the key board!

We now have a sitting on his own big boy! He still tips every once and a while but he is enjoying sitting up and being able to scootch around and even tip over...mom does that remind you of anything? A certain toilet experience?
I wish everyone a Happy New Year and a safe one too!
Love you all!

No Words

SO...we were heading upstairs to eat dinner tonight, not my favorite thing we do, but it is easier when it is late and when Logan is tired and needs to have a bottle. Both Bob and I can feed him and eat at the same time! So Bob had Logan, I was just a bit behind him and I hear..."Oh NO Logan...NO NO NO NO...oh crap - Emily "What happened do you need me" - Bob "no there's just broccoli on the stair". I don't know why I think that is so funny but it was!

I forgot last week to share our 6 month stats:

- 17 lbs 13 oz
- 28 inches long
- moving on to stage 2 baby food - this is a big deal it means we have more options
- we are sitting on our own
- MORE FUN THEN EVER!!

He is a big pig as well...today he had in the 9 hours he was at the babysitters
- 28 oz formula (4 bottles)
- 2 baby food containers (peaches and squash)
- 1 bowl of rice cereal
He loves to eat!

So I got Logan a special present today while I was at work...this is just for all of those Disney fans - mostly Mimi. I hope you are proud, mom!

There are no words.....

All I can think to say is "Shut up he is so cute"!!!!

He was so happy with the cute hat on his head...did not bother him at all.

His little name on the back!

Again.....no words.

This is for FAC - aka Fun Aunt Carlee (she loves that he is attaching the bear, which totally what he was doing)

This is for Mimi (her favorite face that he does - not his best version of the face but fun none the less)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one! I think it is because he looks like he thinks he is so funny!

Just another fun one from our Christmas photo shoot!
ENJOY!

6 MONTHS - and a week in review!

So as I kept uploading, the pictures just kept going backwards. I was a bit too lazy to put them in the "correct" order. So we are going to go backwards.

LOGAN IS 6 MONTHS OLD!!!! Hurray! I made a little "cake" and we called Mimi and Popi and we all sang Happy Birthday. It was fun, and all of the men in the family made fun of me! It is a mommy thing I guess. He is so big...we will have more stats tomorrow!

Caroline watched Logan the other night and she got this picture! How great is it! I know I always say this but it must be a mom thing...he is so stinking cute!!

So we decorated for Christmas...we have 3 little tree's down stairs and our big one up stairs!

More of the down stairs...and the garland on the rail.

Just a different view.

Our stockings...

The kitchen table all Christmassy...

Out "big" tree up stairs. I think it looks nice. I love Christmas!!

With the lights on!

From when Caroline was watching Logan...he was just talking away!

This was the end of our Turkey Day...Bob and I had to get the oil back in the bottles. This was the better of the pictures, it was a debacle at best!

The Families at dinner - thanks to Aunt Caroline for setting up the tripod and taking it for us!

Dinner

Charlene and Logan just hanging out!

He is so funny.

Cooking up the turkey~looks yummy.

Aunt Caroline and Logan watching all of the commotion.

He looks lovely, first time with peaches :)

He was making funny faces.

Just hanging out with everybody. It was so fun to have The McClellans over for Thanksgiving. Caroline and Logan had a great time the other night and we are so lucky to have Caroline...I am so happy it is Christmas time. I love our house with lights on inside...there is something about Christmas lights and Christmas trees.
